Hey guys ! 😊 Gooood Morning!

Can you notice? Ohh my my ... Why am i soo happy today?

I have no idea but i guess its because its " SHOW TIME " 😎
Well not to forget its my Jury tomorrow and i am pretty excited! Nervous though but i know i have worked a lot so i am confident!
I hope the jury members like my work and the most important part my understanding!

So guys, its show time for all of you too beacuseeeee i am done with my swatches and i have added something more to it for you all i.e the utility sheets.
i know the name sounds boaring but but but Shakespeare said "what's in the name"!No! frankly! I love them and i am definitely sure you all will love them too. 
This was my first time that i actually got an idea during this module that how am i gonna live for the rest of my life and seriously i am sooo enjoying it even if it makes me work all day all night but the final outcome is something which makes me go crazy and guys with no further blah blah blah today i am gonna show you now!

Yes Yes! these are toothpick and this one really interests me ! 

I kinda interpreted a Kutchi motif into a sitting area for a cafe or something.

Who wants to wear this jewellery piece inspired from Kutch? Well, I do!

material exploration of motifs

And trying to keep my eyes open here i am back with another post at 4:00 am in the morning however its has not been "Good Night" time for me yet.

Hello guys!

You really wanna know why am i still up ? Well trust me ind designing colleges its only 3-4 hour sleep or no sleep!

You have to work all day , all night long and it ain't a joke cuz you really have to scroll through different books, web pages etc to gain knowledge and generate ideas of your own and in the race of doing something unique , many of us tend to end up doing the basic at times... Well, this field actually needs a lot of exposure and experience at the same time.

Anyways, moving ahead as i was saying i have not slept for days for i was busy exploring the motifs with different materials available. Though i really thought of using many more but due to lack of time i could not explore them but i am pretty sure you will like all that i have tried till now.... Well! i am soooo excited to show you my first cluster of motif exploration with different materials.

Visual Explorations

Hey guys😃

I am back with another post today.

Finally i am done with a few of my visual explorations and i am pretty excited to share them with you all.

 Initially guys , I had no freaking idea how to go about "visual explorations".
Exploration! This is a word which, mind you guys!🙆 never speak to a designing student while he/she is working , else you will definitely have it from him/her! (this is a free advice btw! Hehehe!)
so i was talking about visual explorations...  I mean taking a particular motif and manipulating it or transforming it according to our own essence and understanding.
Well, i guess i might have done a lot of thinking, lot of research blahh blahh blahh to come up with these sheets.

How to Kutch Embroider?

Hi Guys! 😉
I have been talking to you about kutch embroidery for days and i guess you all must be interested to know the procedure to do it.
Well initially you might find it a bit difficult just like i did but trust me guys its really easy once you get to know the basics and because this embroidery is adaptable to almost any surface you can embroider a lot of things for instance- shoes, tops, pants, jackets, wall hangings, bed sheets and other decorative materials  by your own.

SEE.....

No wonder why this embroidery is world famous!

So, to learn a few basics about kutch embroidery I viewed several videos on Youtube.

Essence and motif study

Hi guys 😅

So, its time for me to show you my deep deep study about the motifs used in kutch embroidery.
Hardly any of us try to figure out what does the motif we are wearing actually symbolizes.

For now i can at least say if you guys will wear kutch embroidery you will definitely be knowing what motif represents what, that is the basic idea behind selection of different motifs when a designer is working on his/her collection for days.

new Inspiration board

Hi guys....😄

 I don't know why but i was not that much happy with my inspiration board and so was not one of my faculty.
Well, according to me, my inspiration board should consist all the images of the products or motifs/patterns usually seen in the kind of embroidery i have chosen, from where i can take inspiration to work on it further. 
Further i decided that I would like to make it keeping in mind the essence of my topic, and what is it famous for.
But somehow my previous board lacked all of this somewhere so i am here with a new one and this was really praised by my faculty , so i hope you all like it too..

Hi Friends ... 😛😛so i have been working so hard on my process book that i could not really get time to write to you all.

I understood that i am pretty well at drawing but these mind mapping and brain storming really kills me at times.

i would briefly say that it is an exploration of the motifs i could find in kutch embroidery and try to capture its feel with different materials.

Hi guys! Finally i am done with my boards .. Ohh ! Haven't i mentioned it before?
Well basically after our research we were to come up with three boards-

My process book

Its already past midnight and I still have not even seen the face of my bed. I can hear the beats of only one song right now, thanks to Rihanna ….Work work work work work…… and then people say fashion designing is soo easy. Well many might say so… but you know guys, no matter how tough it might be,  I always enjoy each and every bit of it because I know with every hard work I do, I am one step closer to my Dream. No matter which field you choose, I always keep saying GIVE YOUR BEST because YOU CHOOSE IT, YOU LOVE IT!

So getting back to work, I start another post of my assignment where I will be showing my, in progress process book which I kept on mentioning in my previous few posts and I am sure you all must be very excited to see.

But what is it?

This process book is basically a compilation of all my research done till now, my doodling of the motifs of kutch embroidery which caught my eye, materials I collected from places I visited, photographic researches etc. I tried my best to include each and every sub topic I could research on and give this process book a feel of Kutch or Kutch Embroidery as well, which took me weeks to think but I believe it has come out to be pretty well. Hope you guys also like it.
